PHX Sky Train will be new mode of transportation at Airport

The Gilbert Chamber of Commerce’s monthly luncheon will feature information about PHX Sky Train, the highly anticipated people mover at Sky Harbor Airport, presented by Jay DeWitt of the City of Phoenix’s Aviation Department.

According to the airport’s website, Sky Harbor Boulevard and the surrounding roadways will reach capacity in six to eight years. The PHX Sky Train will provide an efficient, environmentally-friendly mode of transportation that will minimize congestion and wait times.

Sponsored by A.L. Russell, the Gilbert NOW!…Network at Noon luncheon will be held on Wednesday, August 19th from 11:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Southeast Regional Library, 775 N. Greenfield Rd., in Gilbert. General admission is $25; Chamber member price is $15. Lunch will be catered by Paradise Bakery.
