Silent Auction to benefit Gilbert Chamber of Commerce

Gilbert celebrities and business leaders will gather for a festive night of dinner and live entertainment on February 25th at the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce’s 10th Annual Celebrity Waiter Dinner, sponsored by Southwest Ambulance.

Local VIPs, including Mayor John Lewis, will each host a table at the annual event to raise money for the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce, a nonprofit organization working to serve as the community’s business advocate to strengthen the business climate in Gilbert.

“We saw some incredible costumes at last year’s Mardi Gras themed event,” said Kathy Tilque, President/CEO of the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce. “This event is one of our most popular and always includes a lot of friendly competition between the waiters to make sure their table is having the most fun, which just adds to the excitement.”

This year’s Celebrity Waiter Dinner is themed Come to the Cabaret and will be held at Villa Siena in Gilbert. Cocktails and the silent auction will begin at 6:30 p.m. Dinner will be catered by Salerno’s Restaurant and entertainment will feature a cabaret floor show with an impersonation of Liza Minnelli. Individual tickets are $75; $60 for Chamber members, and tables of eight, along with the choice of celebrity waiter, are sold for $600.

Additional event sponsors include Sam’s Club and Arizona Bank & Trust. Cocktail attire is appropriate. For more information or to purchase a ticket or table, visit www.gilbertaz.com or call Marty at (480) 926-6003.
