Bead Inspired at a Free Family Friendly Event
Bring the Family to See Fantastic Bead Artists at Work at the Mesa Arts Center, One East Main Street, downtown Mesa on Saturday, March 20 from 10a.m.-4 p.m.
The event will feature 10 teams of talented glass bead artists, competing for prizes in live competition throughout the day. There will also be lots of fun music, activities and guest appearances for the whole family to enjoy!
The purpose of Bead Inspired is to raise money to support the Beads of Courage Program for children coping with cancer and other serious illness as provided at area hospitals. Bead Inspired is hosted by talented bead artists. All beads made at the event are donated to Beads of Courage to distribute to children coping with life threatening illness who participate in the Beads of Courage Program during their long and difficult treatment journey.
Flaming hot torches, the main attraction of a Bead Inspired event, is the opportunity to watch talented bead artists melting glass with flaming hot torches as they make one-of-a-kind beads for children in the Beads of Courage Program. The Event is free to attend and those who attend Bead Inspired can elect to:
• Make a unique beaded bracelet with on-site design help
• Shop the Bead Inspired Gift Shop with one-of-a-kind gifts for sale
• Sponsor a bead for a child coping with a serious illness
So bring the family and enjoy the fun.
