Gabe Hoffman
A Financial Adviser You Should Know

Providing experienced, unbiased and personalized investment counseling to assist clients in achieving their long-term financial goals, northeast Mesa resident Gabe Hoffmann is a MorganStanley SmithBarney financial advisor whom you should know.
Mr. Hoffmann has been with MorganStanley SmithBarney for the last 14 years and currently holds the title of Senior Vice-President. Drawing on his experience, Hoffmann provides a variety of services to clients, including: retirement and estate planning; tax-advantaged investment strategies; college planning; and insurance protection for disability, long-term care and life. Other services include personal liability issues, such as home loans and equity lines of credit.

Hoffmann also works with small and mid-size businesses coordinating 401(k) administration, banking, cash flow management, equipment leasing and succession planning. When asked how he would best describe his practice, Hoffmann responded, “Basically, I act in the capacity of a CFO to my clients and their families, complementing their existing team of professionals such as lawyers, CPAs and bankers. This holistic approach has proven successful whether the client is an involved business owner, a busy corporate executive or a retiree who prefers to spend his or her time improving the golf game.”

Hoffmann embraces the traditional philosophy that attainment of one’s financial goals is achieved systematically through careful planning and prudent, long-term investing, not through speculation or short-term trading. As such, careful attention to investment goals and attitude towards risk are fundamental to the process clients go through during their meetings with him.

A long-time resident of The Groves area, Hoffmann lives in the Arboleda community with his wife, Mazie, and their three children – Garrett, Tyler and Lexie. All three of their children attend Mesa Public Schools. The Hoffmanns share a long history of family living in the Valley since the 1950s.

Mr. Hoffmann received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from NAU and graduated Magna Cum Laude with honors in 1994. Prior to his financial advisory practice at MorganStanley SmithBarney, Gabe was in management with the San Diego Padres affiliate minor-league baseball team (the Quakes) in Rancho Cucamonga, California.
